Hello everyone! I have a MASSIVE haul to share with you all today from Coastal Scents. For Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Coastal Scents was having a 50% promotion on every single item on their site. I have been stalking their site for a while now and I wanted to take advantage of this sale to purchase many, many things!
Regularly, their shadow pots are $1.95 each and occasionally throughout the year, they will have a sale where the shadow pots (hot pots) are .99 cents! During Black Friday, they were .98 cents so I ordered many of them since I heard of the great quality. The shadows themselves come in a wide variety of color as well as finishes. I stocked up on a lot of matte textures this time around.
With the hot pots, I also ordered 2 of their 28 piece custom palette. Coastal Scents now offers 2 kinds of palettes, one that has a black cover and the other with a clear hard plastic cover. I chose the latter because it`s a lot easier to see the shadows through the plastic window this way and I also think it looks a lot nicer. These are regularly $9.95 each but were on sale for $4.98 each! I meant to order 56 eyeshadows so that they could all fit in the 2 palettes, but I accidentally ordered two of the same shade - which is why there is one empty slot in one of the palette. All of these hot pots automatically magnetize to the Coastal Scents palette, which is really nice so you don`t have to get your own magnetic sticker to place them inside. The shadows are the same size as MAC shadows or MakeupGeek shadows but those shadows won`t automatically magnetize into the Coastal Scents palette. The Coastal Scents shadow also will not magnetize to Z-Palettes.
I also ordered 1oz of Silica powder spheres, which is regularly $4.95 for 1oz but were on sale for $2.48. I love using silica to set my makeup during the day. I`ve used the Make Up For Ever HD powder and these feel identical to be honest. I also ordered one 30 gram round sifter jar to transfer the silica powder into. I used to have the full size MUFE HD powder but I lost it... I now only have the MUFE HD powder in the little deluxe size containers and it`s a bit hard to use the product since it`s not big enough for me to swirl my brush into. The 30 gram round jar with the sifter is regularly $1.17 and I got it for .59 cents.
Lastly, I ordered a sample packet of the Blue-Red Chrome mica pigment. This sample was .48 cents. With my order, I also received a sample quad of the Coastal Scents shadows from their Revealed 2 palette. I had some reward points on Coastal Scents so I applied it to my order for additional saving. In total, my order came out to be $66.89 with no tax!
I think I`m pretty much set on eyeshadows for a very, very long time! All the matte shades I used are very neutral and are great blending colors for the crease and outer corner. There are some pop of colors but I still think it`s all very wearable! If you`d like to know the names of the shadows or want to see swatches, let me know! :)
