So on Valentine`s Day, I had a class at 1:10-2:25pm. I had asked my best friend, Ana, if she could pick me up since I didn`t drive to class. I walked over to meet her halfway.
We went to the supermarket first to buy some food for her mom to cook. Ana also wanted to buy flowers for her sister, Maria. The flowers in the supermarket looked like they were dying. So she was going to go to Pathmark after she dropped me off.
Since Walgreens was on the way to my house, she decided to stop by and check them out. The place was packed. We walked right over to where the flowers were located at.
We saw the prices, and thought at least they were a bit cheaper than the supermarket. They didn`t even look like they were dying. I had my eye on a dozen of orange roses. They weren`t red but at least they were roses. Plus, they were pretty.
Ana wandered off to the stuffed animals and found a bear, she was going to buy it BUT I saw that the ear sizes didn`t match up. One was bigger than the other and it was noticeable. I called her over to the dozen orange roses and I mentioned that it was actually a pretty good price and if she gets them, she can buy 1 single red rose and put it in the middle of the bouquet. Which makes the red rose stand out and completes the gift. We also picked a card up that had pink owls on it.
The price of the dozen roses were $12.49. The single rose was $2.99 & the card cost $2.99 also.
