so I`m not very consistent with these - yeah, I got that, it`s mostly because I don`t always wear makeup as crazy as that might sound. that being said, I did wear a little more in March so I actually had some favorites to share
I absolutely dislike drugstore foundations. for me and one me - they either break me out, they smell, they`re too pink, they make me even more oily or feel much too thick and cakey. a friend of mine had purchased the new cover girl 3 in 1 foundation and raved about it so much - I had to get it, yes, had to. I`m about an NC25ish at the moment, with lots of yellow and the shade 832 Nude Beige is the best match. yeah, the sucker is pretty great let me tell you. it has awesome coverage, doesn`t make me oily and doesn`t break me out. it`s still a touch too pink for me but not enough to where I can`t stand it or work with it.
now here is where it flips - I`ve tried mac concealers and have hated them, yet the maybelline age rewind is in holy grail status right now. I mean LOVE. I`m pretty sure it`s in the shade light.
for my brows, I`ve been skipping the mac gel creme and been using only the brow powder duo (brun and coquette) and that`s been working just fine. I haven`t been altering the shape, really just making what I do have a little darker.
ah yes, mac teddy eyeliner. I wear this so much it`s crazy. it`s just perfect for the water line and lash line, not as harsh as black so it`s just fantastic for an easy daytime look. all I need is a cream shadow, this and mascara and I`m set.
speaking of mascaras, I started my full size tube of the buxom and was reminded of how much I love it. it doesn`t clump, it doesn`t sting, it lengthens, not much volume but that`s ok. just a lovely mascara.
ever since I bought the hourglass ambient light powder in dim I have worn it every single time I wear makeup. it has the most subtle yet perfect effect. it`s just really hard to describe but it`s a must have.
the standout lip product in march was my burberry lipgloss in pink sweat pea. it is almost fully opaque, very true to color, not sticky, flowery sweet scent, and omg, do you see that color ??? it looks so freaking good on and I`m glad because the shade made me a little hesitant. I love it by itself or layered, although I seem to wear it more by itself.
lastly, my brush pick for last month was the angled blush brush that came in the renew kit from rite aid. it`s a lot bigger and denser than the one in their regular line. softer brush to ever touch my face, I mean it`s like velvet. I used it to apply the burberry blush and they are perfection together. I saw the brush kits at rite aid two days ago so if you can find them, get them, because all the brushes in there are amazing.
so that`s it for my March faves, long post but good products ;-)
