Crepes are one of my favorite things to eat for dessert. I`m not a fan of super sweet desserts and I think a crepe has the perfect amount of sweetness for me.
Recently, a new creperie opened around the Sawtelle area in Los Angeles. It`s still relatively new and not many people know about it. My friend found out about through another friend. The place is called Mapaya. It`s a really small location with only 3 or 4 small tables inside and they only accept cash. They have both savory and dessert crepes available.
My friend and I both ordered a dessert crepe. The base price is $3.99 and you choose your ice cream flavor (I think they have vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and green tea). On top of that you can add additional toppings for an additional cost.
What`s in my dessert crepe?

- French vanilla ice cream
I paid $5 and some change for my crepe and I think that`s a pretty decent price because I`ve had crepes that cost more than that. Overall, I really enjoyed my crepe and I don`t know what kind of ice cream they used, but the scoop of french vanilla ice cream tasted amazing! I also liked how the nutella and strawberries were evenly distributed throughout the crepe instead of just being packed into one area. Plus, the little faces on the ice cream looked super adorable!
