These are called manila clams. They are orignally from japan and they are the sweetest clams and they don`t take that long to open when cooked. The way I had them is different from the typical black bean and garlic stir fry style. These are just stired fried with some jalapeno peppers and salt and probably some sort of broth. They are so good. It`s a great change especially if you always have black bean and garlic clams. How do you like to cook your clams?
