Mak`s Review: The Last Stand Screening

Yesterday I got to watch a screening of The Last Stand courtesy of Cinemit. This is Arnold Schwarzenegger`s first full role since coming back from politics. I really did not have big expectations for the film, but I have to say it was very enjoyable. It`s not a great film but it was good.

Arnold played a small town sheriff near the border of Mexico. A drug cartel boss escapes and attempts to drives toward the border in a souped up concept car they stole at an auto show. All attempts by the FBI to stop and capture him fails. So it`s up to the small town sheriff to stop him. Yeah it sounds corny but trust me the film is good. It`s kind of odd to have him as southern town sheriff with his accent. But they explained that he`s a transplant from Los Angeles. That`s my only gripe. Johnny Knoxville as well as the other supporting actors were superb as well.

Talk the TALK
1) Are you a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger?
2) Do you plan to see The Last Stand?
