While at Times Square my family and I had lunch at Famous Dave`s. It`s fairly new as far as I know. At the same building there`s also a Dave & Busters and Applebee`s. Famous Dave`s is suppose to known for their ribs. My wife order the country roasted chicken with corn on the cob and fries and mac and cheese as her sides. I order an appetizer of the Southern Rib Tips with Sassy sauce and Fries. The chicken was good, we really liked it a lot. It was so tender and juicy, even the white meat. The fries was pretty decent as was the Mac and Cheese and corn. The Rib Tips, my wife and I was a little disappointed. It wasn`t tender at all and at least one piece was way overcooked. The sauce is pretty on the salty side which is always a no for me. Then the bill, the place is not cheap. And they automatically added gratuity of 17% which I always find annoying when a place does that. Our total bill for lunch for 3 was about $35 or so. I don`t think I`ll be coming back very soon. Maybe for dinner in the future trying a different entree. Talk the TALK 1) Have you ever tried Famous Dave`s? If so what did you have? 2) Do you like RIBS, what kind? Pics are all mines.
