Line the root of your eyelashes with black or dark brown eyeliner. Make sure there are no tiny bits of skin showing through, or the effect is ruined.
Curl your eyelashes.
Dust your eyelashes with a translucent powder using a small makeup brush. I have used anything from my face powder to loose face powder, and I usually use a small concealer brush
Apply mascara from root to tip in a horizontal fashion. The trick is to wiggle the brush from right to left while moving the brush up your lashes. This gets the mascara-y goodness around the sides of your lashes as well, and also separates.
This is a crucial step for me. Sometimes no matter how great of a mascara you use, youll get lashes that stick together. Take a mascara brush and flip it up and just use the tip to get in between two lashes at a time, and separate them using the brush. This is a race with time, as it gets tougher as the mascara dries. A needle works better but obviously you have to be more careful
Flaunt your natural, beautiful lashes!
