Hello lovely Luuuxers!
I`ve recently gotten my act together and re-organized my vanity! I wanted to share the way I organize everything so that perhaps I could inspire some of you! I did not spend a whole lot on this project, which is always a plus!
1. Use clear acrylic containers to store small items such as lipstick, lipgloss, and mascara! The container on top that I use to store my lipsticks and commonly-used skincare items separates from the drawers on the bottom, but I decided to stack them to save space. This particular container has slots for twelve lipsticks, plus I squeezed about five more on the backmost row. I love how my lipsticks look when they`re on display like that. The container on the bottom has three drawers that fit quite a few products in each. I like how the drawers are clear so that I can see what color they are from the outside, and therefore I can find the product I want in a hurry!
Both of these containers were bought at Marshall`s for less than twenty bucks each, and they are quite sturdy and look more expensive than they are. They have made my vanity look a lot more beautiful!
2. Separate face and eye brushes using separate containers. It is so much easier to fish for the brush I want now that they are separated! The blue container is the carrying case that came with my Sigma brushes, and the face brushes are held in a small glass jar that I bought at Michael`s for less than $5. I tied a ribbon around the top to make it look more pretty, but you can decorate these however you want!
(Please excuse the fact that my brushes are dirty...eek!!)
3. Store your makeup palettes in a letter organizer! I bought this `Let It Be` letter holder from Marshall`s, and it has two little shelves where I can place my palettes up for display. Now, they are really easy to pick out when I want to use them, and when I`m not using them, they look really nicely displayed! Plus, now I am more conscious to use all of my palettes instead of reaching for the same one over and over.
All of these storage solutions were very affordable, and now that I notice it, they were mostly all from Marshall`s! So check out that store if you`re looking for easy ways to spice up your vanity or get your collection in order!
