Back in January I finally upgraded my makeup organization and purchased the 10-drawer rainbow organizer from Michael`s. I think it regularly costs $60 so I was hesitant to spend so much, but in January I was able to score the organizer for just under $25 after sales and a store coupon! I`m glad I waited to purchase it rather than shelling out the $60. It`s completely worth it and was super easy to assemble. Hope you enjoy!
-On top of the drawer-organizer I have a glass cup (Dollar Store) that I store my brushes in, a desk-top organizer to house foundations that don`t have pumps, my makeup mirror ($1 at the flea market), my mini OPI Nicki Minaj set and my huge ELF palette.
Drawer 1 - Foundations, tinted moisturizers, setting powders, and concealers (in the little white plastic basket)
Drawer 2 - neutral/ natural eyeshadows - prior to my current set-up I housed all of my eyeshadow (neutral & colorful) in one big bucket, but I ran out of space so I thought it would be easier to just separate the neutrals and colorful shadows. This drawer is certainly filling up quickly!
Drawer 3 - colorful eyeshadows! I definitely prefer neutral/ natural eyshadow shades so this drawer is much emptier. The flower tins in the back contain all the shadows from drugstore palettes (Wet N Wild, Covergirl, etc). I de-panned a bunch of shadows last year to make room for more eyeshadows lol.
Drawer 4 - This drawer just contains eye products including primers, Maybelline color tattoo shadows, eyeliners & eye pencils, and mascaras.
Drawer 5 - my favorite drawer!! I`m a total lip junkie so naturally I have a TON of lip products! I purchased two white plastic organizing baskets from Wal*Mart and used them to separate my hard-tube lipglosses and my lipsticks. In front of the hard-tubed lip gloss basket I have my soft-tube glosses. This drawer is super heavy!
Drawer 6 - this drawer houses all my blushes, highlighters, and bronzers.
Drawer 7 - this drawer mostly contains products that I use before bedtime, including eye makeup removing pads, anti-aging creams, my Obagi eyelash solution, and also the three perfumes I own
Drawer 8 - my Urban Decay NYC palette is so large that I had to put it in a drawer by itself lol!! Also in this drawer I have my kabuki brushes, a nail file board, Hello Kitty band-aids and an un-opened eyeshadow palette from Almay
Drawer 9 - this drawer has makeup removing wipes, Q-tips for removing mascara under my eyes, various makeup and skin care samples, and the Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel that I use as an all-over face primer
Drawer 10 - makeup bags and a container filled with beauty coupons!!
Thanks for reading!
