Hi everyone! A few months ago my mom and I visited Ross, and one of the first places I always check out is the beauty section. Some stores have better beauty sections than others so it`s always a matter of checking out what each one has at any given time. I`ve seen discounted Physicians Formula and other discontinued drugstore items there so it`s always worth a look.
This time I came across a makeup brush set by a brand I had never heard of before, but the brushes looked nice and the price wasn`t too expensive.
These three brushes are by the brand Beauty Muse Pro and the style of the brushes is very similar to the Real Techniques brushes: synthetic bristles, colored metal handles with a rubbery base. It includes a foundation brush, buffing brush and a detail brush for $10.
Because of the synthetic bristles these brushes are very soft. They are also not too dense, so I don`t know how well these would work for liquid foundation application. If you use powder foundations, the two bigger brushes will probably work better for that, which is what I use both of them for. The smaller detail brush is similar to the detail brush by Real Techniques, which I love for precision concealing around my lips and brows, so having another similar brush is great.
I`ve used these brushes since purchasing them and haven`t experienced any shedding or bleeding while washing.
The only bad thing about hauling items from Ross or any of those discount stores is that not all stores will carry the same items, but you may be able to find something similar.
