I recently chose the Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder Foundation as a free sample with my Sephora shipment. I absolutely adore it! I got it for fair complexion and was genuinely surprised/pleased. Typically lines have one or two fair options. And I am usually the most fair on the complexion spectrum which is tricky. That being said, I was happy to see that the sample came with 4 different shades for "fair." I used 2 to test them out and the other 2 didn`t look flattering in the pic so I left out a pic of the inside. The 4 shades were Pink Porcelain, Pink Ivory, Neutral Porcelain, and Neutral Ivory.
The line has 24 shades altogether for this product and it runs at $36 each at Sephora. I am in love with it, so I will be getting one, but I definitely suggest trying at the store or grabbing a sample.
What the sample really did was show me how many different shades this line has. I have not really explored this line`s products but I definitely will be from here on out. I love it when a company doesn`t assume that everyone will find their perfect shade in just a handful of selections. Fair/Medium? Really?
They have a pink, neutral, and golden version of most of the shades, with the exception of the end cap shades (porcelain and ebony in this case). It made my skin look amazing and I can`t wait to get it!
Update: I just got this today and it comes in an awesome compact. It includes a mirror and sponge for application. I will probably use a brush but it is good for on-the-go. What it also has, which I`ve never seen before, are little holes for ventilation on the bottom so the sponge doesn`t get a gross consistency from being locked away. Very cool touch!
