Macy`s Haul: Clinique Acne Solutions

If you read my earlier posts from yesterday, I mentioned that I will be posting a few hauls. Today, I`m going to continue posting a few more hauls.

I went to Macy`s yesterday after my late birthday lunch and was actually here because my dad wanted me to start using makeup. I saw the MAC station, but my dad just wanted me to try Clinique since they have been around for a while. Originally, I wasn`t planning to spend that much on all these facial products and was just looking for a foundation since I ran out of my Missha BB Cream.

However, the lady over the counter looked at my face and thought that I needed this CLINIQUE ACNE SOLUTION (3-Step Kit) since I did have two huge pimples on my chin and a few acne scars on my forehead. I recently broke out quite a bit for some strange reason and usually don`t get much acne unless it`s that time of the month or I`m really stressed out from school. I do have a few acne scars on my forehead, but it`s mainly covered with my bangs. I also have large pores on my forehead because that`s where I produce the most oil on my face. (Just so you know, I have combination to oily skin)

Going back to the CLINIQUE ACNE SOLUTION (3-Step Kit), it comes with a:
1) Cleansing Foam -- $19.50
2) Clarifying Lotion (which is more like a toner) -- $15.00
3) Clearing Moisturizer -- $19.50
TOTAL: $54.00 (not including tax)
I`m not going to go too much into detail for now on how to use the products since this post might be long. I`m going to test it out for a month and I`ll try to write a review on it. :)

The lady over the counter at Clinique also noticed some dryness on my forehead and temples which was kind of strange because that usually the area on my face which has the most oil. I think the excessive dryness may be due to the fact I have been exfoliating it too much. eek! So she recommended me the CLINIQUE DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT MOISTURIZING GEL -- $25.00. I will also do a review on this later on.

Finally, the foundation. The lady from Clinique recommended that I use CLINIQUE ACNE SOLUTIONS LIQUID MAKEUP -- $27.00 -- which my shade is 02 fresh ivory. Since this is really my first high-end foundation that I`ve ever bought and I don`t know much about makeup, I purchased a foundation brush from Clinique as well -- $32.50. I couldn`t believe that the brush was the most expensive item out of all these products!! Ridiculous!!

TOTAL FOR ALL THE PRODUCTS: $150.62 (including tax)

After I have tried out these products for about a month, I`ll do a review. :) I just hope these products work out well since this is a huge investment on just my face. I also opened a Macy`s account yesterday, so they gave me a 15% discount.

Thank you so much for reading! :)
Sorry if it was really long!!
