My brother recently returned from his trip to Paris and one of the souvenirs was a box of French macarons from Patisserie Sadaharu Aoki. This place was recommended to him by one of his friends. On his last day in Paris, he went to Patisserie Sadaharu Aoki again to buy this for the family. I can only imagine how much he must`ve spent on these because they`re $2 - $2.50 each here. He also bought some back for his friends. On the box there was a small pamphlet listing the flavours available. Since it`s a Japanese bakery, there`s also wasabi ones, but he didn`t buy any. He chose a mix of flavours, including green tea and coffee for me. I`ve seen many macarons posts here, but haven`t tried any until now. Macarons are available at Metro`s bakery, but only pistachio and raspberry. Yesterday I had earl grey and raspberry macarons. The raspberry was really sweet but they were good. Today I had a coffee macaron and it`s my favourite so far. I can definitely taste the flavours in these so I hope green tea will be just as good. My brother said the salted caramel, orange, is really good. I`ll have to try that and green tea later.
