While in OC my sister, who works at a Boba shop, was taking forevers to get off of work and I was starving. My mom had forced me to pick her up so I figure since she was taking so long I would check out this new bakery.
Turns out the bakery had been there for about 5 or so months, but they simply left the sign up to attract some attention. The bakery was very cute, clean, and slow. I browsed through the pastry case and they had mini cupcakes and these little mini dome cakes. AND these rows of macaron. Once I saw them I wanted them, and so did my little brother! They were $1.50 each so I got the pistachio, lemon, vanilla, earl grey, chocolate, caramel, and coffee macaron. I got ten and it came out to $15 exact.
I found that they macarons were PERFECT. They weren`t overly sweet or bland. You could truly taste the flavors, and nothing seemed to taste fake either.
I would recommend the place, if only I remember what it was called... I simply know that it`s on Brookhurst Street in Garden Grove right next to the Boiling Crab togo shop.
