I don`t know what it is about MAC employees, but every single one I`ve experience had either been rude or not very helpful. The MAC I usually go to is in my local Macy`s or the MAC store at my mall. Both of these stores have employees who can assist you with your makeup purchases, questions you have, generally make your shopping experience easier.
One issue that isn`t really the employees fault is that theres never enough people on the floor to help. Theres usually only two associates, so it takes a decent amount of time until you get a turn to ask your question.
I guess since I`m young employees often assume I`m just in there to mess around with the makeup or they expect I won`t be buying anything so I`m rarely assisted. Even when I ask for help, the staff isn`t very friendly or helpful towards my purchase. I know it sounds dumb, but its definitely one of my reasons why I tend to go to Sephora more. A store should set up a positive, helpful vibe. I think making a customer feel comfortable and helped out is just important as having good quality products.
What do you guys think? What do you think of MAC employees?
