Lyndsay`s September Favorites

It is almost October! WOOHOO! While that means I am happy, there are fall festivals, pumpkin patches, warmed cider, spiced candles, renaissance festivals, etc. happening.... it also means it is time for my September favorites! :-) I really enjoyed September because that was the month that it finally started to cool down and begin to feel as though fall were on the way. I also busted out mostly darker colors to wear, which made me ecstatic! I will start with my favorite nail polishes. As you can see from the selection, they are most definitely fall colors. From left to right are: Sparitual Epicurean. You can see that manicure /viz/sparitual-epicurean Next is Zoya Shawn. You can see that manicure /viz/zoya-shawn Then we have Revlon Rain Forest. You can see that manicure /viz/revlon-rain-forest-polish Finally is Zoya Kalmia. You can see that manicure /viz/zoya-kalmia-0 Next is a newer mascara that I have worked into my makeup looks. It is the Maybelline Lash Discovery mascara. I love this one for picking up even the tiniest of eye lashes. It is amazing! I think this one will be staying in my rotation. More on this mascara can be found /viz/mascaras-moment Next, I`m going to move on to some lip products. From left to right are: Cover Girl lipstick in Delish, Revlon Lip Butter in Cherry Tart, and the Jack Black lip balm in Lemon & Chamomile. Delish is a nice nude that doesn`t pale out my face. It is a bit deeper than my natural lip color but not so brown that it looks dated or matronly. Cherry Tart I can wear as a light red wash or build it up. I liked this one for September because it started me in on the reds that I like to wear in the fall but it wasn`t going overboard. It is a nice introduction to fall red. The Jack Black Balm I love year round. This is my very favorite balm. I feel like it really nourishes and moisturizes my lips. Highly recommend. The next item is a makeup brush. I have mentioned this one before. It is my Japonesque blending brush. I like to use this to apply my concealer under my eyes. It is very, very soft yet blends lovely under the eyes. EEK, I set it down poorly and some of the bristles are bent in the photo. The last items are creme products. One is the new Maybelline Color Tattoo limited edition Barely Beige. OMG, love this stuff! I really hope they decide to make these permanent. I`d hate to be without it. I have been wearing it every single day. Some days I have worn it alone and it just brightens but isn`t in your face. Other days I use it as a base. It is fantastic. Absolutely amazing. I`m glad I have a back up. The second item is the Revlon Colorstay Creme blush in Flushed. I know this isn`t really a fall color but technically it didn`t become fall until the END of september...sooo, this is acceptable. I was wary of how bright the pink is but it actually blends nicely into the skin and gives a gorgeous flush. I have worn it alone (with just my setting powder over the top) or as a base under other pinks. Most of the time I prefer it on its own, though, because it is so pretty. So, that is it! My favorites for the month of September! I can`t wait for everyones favorites posts to start going up. I absolutely love seeing what everyone has been using.
