LUSH | Catastrophe Cosmetic

When I did back to Lush 5 empties (if you dont know about their program, let me know, Ill do a post on it!), I decided to try the new fresh mask Lush released, called Catastrophe Cosmetic.

It is a very cleansing and purifying mask, with blueberries, calamine and talc. All these ingredients work great for your skin thanks to their amazing properties.
Calamine, a clay, and talc deep clean your skin, leaving it smoother and without imperfections, while blueberries are full of vitamins and anti-oxidants.
A nice mix which will help your skin feeling smoother and softer, reduce redness and iper-pigmentation and calm any irritated spot you might have.

I usually leave it on for 10/15 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. I feel 10 minutes is enough because the mask actually starts to feel a little bit tight and uncomfortable on my skin.
The results are amazing! My skin does feel smoother and less grainy, my spots are less visible and my face feels overall really cleansed.

It has a nice scent too, so its not unpleasant to leave it on your face.
The only thing I want to point out is that, after rinsing it off, you will still have residue on your skin, due to the thickness of the calamine, I guess.
Anyways, the easiest way to get rid of the residue it to take a cotton ball, soak it with toner or a gentle make-up remover and youll be fine.
Overall, I highly recommend this product, not only if you have combination or oily skin, but also if you have normal skin. It will definitely improve the way your face feels and looks.
Keep it in the fridge, so that it stays fresh longer; youll get about 4 uses out of one pot.
