For today`s lunch we went to Warung Tekko. Their specialty are short ribs. I ordered ribs with peanut sauce and another dish were the ribs were fried crispy. Those ribs came without bones and a yummy honey mustard mayonaise dip. I can definitely understand why ribs are the specialty here, the meat is extremely tender and almost falls off the bone.
For side dishes we had tempe which is a fried soy bean patty, white rice, red rice and kangkung. This was my first time trying red rice. Basically the grains are just bigger but it doesnt taste really different than white rice. I still prefer white rice though because it`s more soft if that makes sense. After this lunch I was so full!! But I got a fish ice cream sandwich for dessert anyway. :p
