I poured some oats into a bowl with milk and microwave it for 3 minutes. You can choose to substitute milk with water, but I use milk for some extra flavour. This is plain oatmeal but I also like the maple and brown sugar. If you want to add some sweetness to the plain oatmeal without using sugar, try adding fresh fruit. I`ve tried with banana and peaches, both delicious.
