Lunch: Mr. Noodle

Yesterday`s lunch ended up being delivery food and I didn`t really mind because I haven`t had delivery food in awhile. Plus, I was craving some Asian food and it`s pretty hard to find good Asian food in the immediate area of where I live. I shared with my roommate so we ordered two dishes.

Hong Kong Pad See Ew (Mee Pad See Ew)

This is probably my favorite noodle dish to order from Mr. Noodle. It`s similar in taste to the regular Pad See Ew, but instead of the larger flat noodles, this dish is made with vermicelli noodles. You get a choice of chicken, beef, pork, tofu, or shrimp and I went with the beef. I love eating this dish with Sambal Oelek because I love spicy foods and the chili sauce adds even more flavor to a dish that`s already flavorful. The serving was quite big so I was glad I shared it with my roommate because I could not finish the whole thing myself.

Beef Stew Noodles (not pictured)

My roommate loves these noodles and I like a lot too. Personally, it`s not the best beef stew noodles I`ve had, but the overall taste is quite good and the beef is always really tender. This stew has all the things my roommate likes to eat so always orders it. She loves the flat noodles, beef, and bean sprouts.

I also ordered a Thai Iced Tea and I think out of the few Asian places near my apartment, Mr. Noodle has really good Thai Iced Tea. I like it because it`s creamy, but it still has that tea flavor and it`s not overly sweet.
