Went to one of my fave Korean restaurants uptown yesterday and ordered my standard bibimbap.
This time, the vegetables were a bit different due to the change in season. Rather than red lettuce, I had burdock root instead, which is equally nice because I prefer boiled burdock root rather than red lettuce.
I love this restaurant, Nak Won, because they always serve the most amount of side dishes, which includes the potatoes and the fish tofu. Not all Korean restaurants serve those and they taste amazing =) I don`t like their kimchi though, its too salty.
The only thing I didn`t like about my bibimbap was that it came iwth white rice. I wish they served purple rice, but because this was a Chinese-Korean fusion restaurant, I guess they use the regular Chinese white rice. At least it was short-grain and not long-grain.
