For St. Patrick`s Day this year I decided to make Lucky Charms Treats! They are a new take on the original rice krispies treats, but more appropriate for the holiday!
5 cups of lucky charms
3 tablespoons of butter
2 1/2 cups of small marshmallows
First you melt the butter & marshmallows in a large sauce pan. Make sure to continuously stir to ensure the marshmallows do not burn nor stick to the bottom of the pan.
Next, remove the mixture from heat & stir the lucky charms in. This will create a thick "batter".
Finally, spread the mixture into a large tray.
Once they cool off, cut into squares, and enjoy!
