Low Carb Series: Sirloin with Cucumber amp Tomato Salad

One of my favorite types of protein to have is beef. Being from the Midwest, I love my steaks. So with this meal I seared up a cut of sirloin and accompanied it with a side salad.

For the beef, I just seasoned it with the following:
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
- Cayenne pepper
- Garlic

Just searing it for 3 minutes on each side for get a medium rare finish.

For the salad, I kept it simple (yet still flavorful) just by dicing up a tomato and adding slices of cucumber to it. Dice up some fresh parsley and add a bit of heat with fresh jalapenos. Finish it off with any type of vinegrette dressing of your choice, and there you have it.

One of my favorite lunches to have.
