Low Cal Dessert 2: Low Fat Blueberry Muffins

This is another amazingly tasty low calorie recipe that I found. I made these yesterday and oh my gosh, let me tell you- they`re absolutely amazing!! Just like the full fat ones, but healthier! I put this under dessert, but to be honest they`re great for breakfast, lunch or snack too! These muffins have only 67 calories per muffin!! The recipe makes 18. Oh and as an added benefit, these puppies are also incredibly easy and fast to make and prepare!

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup white flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp lemon zest
1 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup blueberries

1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Stir in berries and lemon zest.
2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine yogurt and buttermilk. Mix with dry ingredients to combine.
3. Fill lined muffin tins 2/3rds of the way full. Bake at 400 degrees F for 18-20 minutes.
