I had the weirdest craving today. I wanted a salad and some salmon. I thought making a salmon salad would be the best lunch choice :]. Luckily I had some salmon in the fridge, but I didn`t have any salad. Rather than just eating the salmon, I decided to stop by this one little sandwich and salad place and pick up a salad. I opted for the chinese chicken salad since it was cheap and healthy.
Since the salad was already prepared, I focused on getting the salmon ready. I just grabbed a slice and pan seared it. Since it was a rather thin slice, it cooked up in a couple of minutes. Once it was fully cooked, I let it cool for a bit and cut them into pieces. I decided against putting the salmon on top of the salad and just left them on the plate. I topped it off with a bit of the sesame dressing that came with the salad. It was a really tasty and filling lunch. Plus it satisfied all of my cravings :].
Besides satisfying my cravings and filling myself up, it was pretty healthy too! So what did you guys have for lunch today? Do you like salads or salmon?
