Since it is summer time and everybody is worried about how they will look in a bikini, I decided to share with you a healthy salad I had for lunch today. Eating a salad won´t do any miracles for your shape but making salads a big part of your diet will sure help to achieve the body you want. Of course one must not forget the exercise. Anyway, my French aunt gave the recipe, well, is more like a bunch of ingredients you put together. For the recipe I needed lettuce, avocado, smoked salmon, shrimp, olive oil and a bit of salt. I just had to wash the lettuce, cook the shrimps in water and salt and peel the avocado. Then a put a little bit of everything in a plate and cut some strips or smoked salmon and also put it in the plate. Then just added a bit of salt and olive oil and it was ready. It´s not something that will end your hunger but it is for sure a light lunch for someone who is not edacious. For those that won´t get satisfied with just a simple salad, there is always another way. Just eat it as an appetizer and then have the real food as a main course. All I know is that I will be having lots of salads this summer. Not only because they are not very caloric but also because they are good for my health and a fresh thing to ingest when temperatures get really high.
