For my lunch today I tried to make grilled cheese for the first time. I can`t believe how simple it actually was. I spread some butter on the outside of the toast and put it in a frying pan on low heat. Then I added two slices of Danish Havarti cheese and one slice of Kerrygold cheddar cheese. I waited until the toast was golden brown. When I cut the toast in half a huge amount of cheese was flowing out :( So next time I will only use two slices of cheese as recommended.
Also I made a tomato soup to go with my grilled cheese. I just used an instant tomato soup and added a bit of crème fraîche and parsley to refine it. It definitely turned out delicious and I will be making this more often now because it is a quick and easy lunch.
