Hey Luuux Foodlings!
Here`s another food post from Korea :D My boyfriend and I wanted something quick and simple to eat, so we went to a place called `Ah-Ddal`. It`s a chain food place that serves a bunch of different things in smaller portions~ They generally have take-out customers because the food is relatively quick to make and easy for on-the-go, but they also have a small dine-in area as well :) My boyfriend and I decided to eat there. Keep reading to see what we ordered!
If you don`t know what ddukbokki is, it`s basically a rice cake dish in a sweet & spicy pepper paste sauce :) You can add whatever ingredients you want in it, but this place just had the rice cake and some fish cake. The sauce was really good and I love the chubbier rice cakes that they had :D Simple dish, but really delicious!
Herb Tang Soo Yook
Tang Soo Yook is basically a breaded and deep fried pork/chicken dish with a sweet & sour sauce. My boyfriend and I decided to try the herb one because we thought it might have an interesting flavor. The tang soo yook was so crispy and hot it was really good! The herb in the breading added a nice flavor, and the dipping sauce was just right :)
Overall, the portions were just right for my boyfriend and I to share :) The prices were appropriate, the menu had great variety, and the food was delicious! Just the perfect meal for a quick lunch date! I`ll definitely find myself back there again!
Tell Me: Have you ever tried either of these dishes? If so, what did you think of them? If not, would you be interested in trying either one? Let me know in your comments below! ^^
