I went to Costco with my mom and my uncle to pick up a bunch of vitamins so he could take back to China. They bought like half a cart full of vitamins so I don`t know how he`s going to get it all back with him. Anyways, while we were there, there were a bunch of people buying the Take and Bake pizzas which was weird since normally people never buy them. I decided to check it out and saw that they were only $5.99 for a giant ass pizza!
We ended up picking one up and making it for lunch. It took about 15 minutes to bake and was piping hot! I`m not normally a refrigerated/frozen people but the pizza was surprisingly really good. It didn`t taste like frozen pizza or delivery, it had it`s own taste. I don`t know how to explain it but it was just really good. The crust wasn`t greasy and had a nice crunch to it. The whole pizza was covered in pepperonis which made it a bit greasy, but I had a bunch of napkins ready. There was also a lot of cheese under the pepperonis. Despite all of the toppings, the pizza didn`t sag and held its shape when you picked it up. I cut it into 16 slices and ate about 3 and was full. I think it`s because of all the greasy. We still have more than half the pizza even with 3 people eating it.
It was surprisingly a very tasty pizza. It`s also a great value. For $6 you get a pizza bigger than an extra large pizza from a delivery place. It`s seriously the size of a hubcap or a manhole. If you have a chance to go to Costco, pick one up! I`m not sure if they`re all going to taste the same, but $6 is definitely not bad for such a big pizza. So have any of you tried Costco`s Take and Bake pizza? Have you tried the ones from their food court?
