A couple of days ago my friends and I decided to go grab some lunch before my classes started and during the 3 hour gap they had. My friend and I had been craving BJ`s cajun pasta so where we would eat was already decided haha. We got to BJ`s around 11:30AM so the place was pretty empty. It was a bit weird since I`m used to having to wait like 30 minutes for a table at BJ`s so this was a first. It ended up working out for us though because 20 minutes after we were seated, EVERYONE started coming in.
Since I was craving the cajun pasta I didn`t have to really look at the menu. Luckily for me, they have lunch specials on their pastas. You take a $1 off the price and you get a salad or soup. I ended up getting a ceaser salad which wasn`t anything too special. The pasta came a couple minutes after the salad. It was smaller than the dinner sized but I expected that.
It was DELICIOUS! I`m not sure if it was because I was having an insane craving for it or if it was just really good. Either way I was beyond happy. The pasta was nicely cooked and the sauce was very flavorful. It wasn`t as spicy as I remembered but it was still really tasty. The chicken was nice and juicy and went great with the pasta. The garlic bread was pretty tasty but nothing too different. Everything was delicious and left me stuffed. This was the first time I ever finished a whole plate which made me feel kind of bad haha.
I think my plate came out to be about $11 which is kind of pricey for lunch but I was more than happy to pay the price. Now if only I could learn to reproduce this then I would eat it all day everyday! Haha just kidding, that`s going a bit too overboard. So have any of you ever had BJ`s cajun pasta? What do you normally get at BJ`s? What did you have for lunch today?
