Doesn`t this meal just look yummy/pretty?! Haha, today I have brought to you guys one of the healthy-like meals that I often eat at my house (aside from my regular junk food habits that I can`t stay away from... lol).
Have you guys heard (around last year) the FDA has produced a new food pyramid? And the even more "healthier" necessities to your meals? Well, they recommend you to have half of your plate be filled with fruits and veggies! While the other half can be grains, meats, etc. :)
Here I have everything from the food pyramid, except dairy haha. My grandmother cooked up some veggies (sprouts, cabbage, carrot, etc) which I paired with rice (not brown, sorry I can`t stay away from my white rice<3). I also added some mangoes, crispy fish (no one in my house knows what it`s called, but it`s really famous in Philippines), and fried salmon! Oh, and the OJ on the side ;)
