This was what I had for lunch yesterday. I was feeling kind of lazy so I didnt wanted to spend a lot of time cooking my lunch.
As you may or may not know, I dont eat meat so I try to eat a lot of tofu, soy and veggies and I actually like it. Back in the time when I still ate meat, I remembered once in a while I ate tofu or soy and I used to think it was a little flavorless.
I dont know if its from the lack of meat or because I have to eat this stuff but it does taste so much better now, its great. I think its because Ive tried a lot more tofu, soy and veggie food so now I know what I do like and whats best for me. Plus, its way healthier than meat.
Fortunately for lazy people (like me!) many of the vegetarian burgers and other food are very fast and easy to cook.
-> Anyway, this is what I had for lunch: a soy burger with vegetable rice and a little bit of cheese.
For the burger, I just had to pre-heat the oven, put the burger there for 5 minutes, turn it around and wait 5 minutes again.
The vegetable rice is one of those types of rice to make in the microwave and I was actually surprised about how great it tasted.
It tasted great! However, because the burger and the rice were just a little spicy its good to eat them with a bit of cheese.
