If you follow my posts then you know that I am on the no carb diet. But with any diet it`s good to have a cheat/treat day or else you will go a little crazy. And I usually skip lunch but I decided to cheat a little and have some pasta.
Everything was simple to make I just started with boiling the pasta because that takes the longest, as well as starting the sauce on the side. The cream sauce was similar to an alfredo. The shrimp was tossed in some sea salt, olive oil, fresh garlic and then sauteed for about 3-4 minutes total. You never want to overcook shrimp because then it becomes rubbery. Instead you want to use it`s color as a gauge. They are grey when raw and a nice light pink all over when they are cooked.
