Found a bag of frozen ramen in the freezer today so I decided to make some ramen for myself for lunch!
This is a vegetarian ramen as I only used burdock root and corn with an egg.
It`s a spicy pork bone based ramen soup with garlic and chili peppers.
This is very easy to make, you need two pots. First, I boiled water for the egg. I soaked the dried burdock root in cold water for 20 minutes and then boiled it in another pot. Once both the egg and burdock root had finished cooking, I put them aside. Then I boiled the ramen and soup together. Just place it in a bowl and you`re done! This took me about 15 minutes to make, and it was delicious!
This was also about 450 calories, which isn`t too bad for a lunch, especially for a delicious one like ramen.
