Went to First Markham Place with the boyfriend today since we had to go to Winners. So we decided to drop by the Food Court to find some cheap eats.
We stopped by the Korean stall and I decided to order the Bibimbap for $5.99. I love bibimbap because it`s filled with vegetables and good protein. You also get side dishes that are mostly kimchi and sprouts, increasing your vegetable intake. This way, I can get 5 servings of vegetables in one healthy meal.
For $5.99, they gave me A LOT of food! The bibimbap was very delicious with mushrooms, sprouts, carrots, cucumber and chinese vegetables. The best part was, they gave me miso soup along with my bibimbap and a very generous helping of kimchi, sprouts and seaweed. I mixed it in with the bibimbap.
At first, I thought the drink in the middle was barley tea which most Korean restaurants serve. However, I was super delighted when I found out it was a sweetened rice drink. I love those! It was a nice palate cleanser.
I will definitely be visiting this stall more often!
