My company ordered Indian catering today for lunch. We had paneer, naan, roast chicken and butter chicken.
I tried paneer before but I don`t really like the cottage cheese and spinach so I decided to stick with butter chicken as it`s delicious! I love butter chicken =)
But since I`m always watching my diet, I only had a little bit of butter chicken and the basmati rice. I filled half my plate up with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers so that I get 2 servings of vegetables which are non-fattening.
I ate the butter chicken very slowly to savor the taste of it with the rice. Even though I knew I could eat a plate full, I always eat very slowly so that I don`t need to eat an entire plate. Usually I find that 1/4 plate is all I need.
Rather than eating 600 calories worth of food, this was only about 200 calories because of the salad =) Good food in moderation!
