L`Oreal Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm

Hey Luuuxers!!!

I totally just had to do a review on this awesome deep conditioner I just got. I know its a bit early to do a full review but after using it I just had to share my thoughts. The conditioner is the LOreal Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm. It cost me about $6.50 at my local grocery store (yea I get hair products while I grocery shop LOL). It says that it repairs up to 1 year of damage in just 1 use and it deeply repairs and reconstructs dry chemically treated hair.

I have African American textured hair that is chemically treated with relaxer to straighten it. I am always on the prowl for an amazing protein conditioner to restore my hair because not only is it chemically treated but it had been very damaged due to my neglect over the years. So when I got home today I decided to do my normal hair care routine I usually do on Saturdays which includes a preshampoo treatment, shampoo, a deep conditioning treatment (either protein based or moisture based depending on what my hair needs) and then leave in conditioner and moisturizer.

Now me being so excited over this product I had to use it today. This is my first Loreal hair product and I really wanted to test it. First off Ill say it smells AMAZING!! The product is VERY THICK. I used about 4 tablespoons of the product and mixed in 1 table spoon of olive oil, 1 table spoon of vitamin E oil and 1 table spoon of Aloe Oil. Once I mixed it all up it became a little more creamy and easier to apply. It applied like a dream and I thoroughly coated my hair as I usually do. I covered my head with a plastic conditioning cap and allowed it to sit for 1 hour while I did some homework. When I rinsed my hairOMG!! My hair was sooo soft and manageable, felt amazing and smelled amazing!! I am IN LOVE!! I will always have this conditioner now. Does it repair a years worth of damage? I dont know, but my hair loves this stuff nonetheless.

However, the jar is very small and does not contain a lot of product. With me using 4-5 spoons of it every time I use it I know I will only get about 4-5 uses out of it even though it says that its 8.5 oz. HOWEVER, this is not a conditioner to use every day but more of a deep treatment to do like once a month so Im cool with the size. Very worth the money in my opinion.

Have any of you tried this conditioner yet?
Have you tried any other Loreal hair product that you love?
Im definitely open to Loreal hair care suggestions.
