Earlier today I went to CVS to see if the Milani products were still on sale. I am also trying to track down Essie`s 2012 spring collection. I`ve read a few blogs where several have spotted the new collection mixed in with the regular line.
It was a sad day for the Queen. Not only did I miss the Milani sale, the items were no longer 75% off, they were now buy one get one half off, but the Essie polishes were no where to be found. Gah! Very upsetting I must say. I seriously feel like everything arrives late in this town. How I miss San Diego and New York. They are always on point when it comes to new releases.
I continued to browse, might as well get something right? I spotted Loreals new collection. In one of my previous posts I stated the new collection held about 15-20 colors. I was wrong. When I 1st spotted them they were in a small display at Rite Aid`s. This one was way bigger and had a lot more to choose from. Being that I loved the colors that I had previously picked up, I figured I could find a few more.
The colors I chose:
Walk On The Beach
Pink Me Up
I took my polishes to the register and was excited to bring them home. However I was annoyed at the clerk. When I had picked these up they had a buy one get one half off tag. They cost $6.99 so I wanted the sale price. The clerk kept telling me they were no longer on sale. Of course he walks back and point out that there are no tags. I see another sales clerk just listening and not saying a word. I walk over reach in her basket and pull out the tag. There you go! They should not do this during the day as people are shopping. What annoyed me most was that she heard our conversation and said nothing. I had the right mind to report her to the manager but just wanted to get my items and leave. So in the end I did get the it for the sale price.
Have any of you ladies picked up any of these polishes? What do you think of these?
Images are mine. I also included a picture of the display so you could see the variety of colors they are carrying.
