L`oreal Paris Preference Extreme Platinum review.

I`m back! With yet another hair dye review! Phew it`s been a while :P It`s not going to be very long, just a quick review on how I feel the product is and how it worked for me.

Opening the box, there`s a lot of "ingredients" that go into the application bottle - and that`s what makes this product instantly unique! Usually with bleaching kits, or so I`ve had, they come with a tray to mix the powder with the liquids, but this all went into a hair dye bottle.

Here`s a picture of my hair before hand - It has previously been bleached, dyed red permanently and then purple permanently quite a few months ago so the purple had faded dramatically.

I had my mum apply the bleach to my ends mainly, as much as we could first, as the intructions imply. We then left it for 15 minutes before applying the remainder all over my hair. We then left it for another 10 - 15 minutes, as we had already used the 45 minute developing time and didn`t want to leave it much longer than this. The liquid is a little thick to apply but easy to comb through and spread. Unlike other bleaches, it didn`t leave my hair ridiculously stiff and unmanagable. This product also comes with a purple toner to make your hair extremely white! An excellent touch :) After washing it off, conditioning it and drying it, it left my hair the colorus you can see in the main picture - gingery reddy pink with platinum blonde roots. In real life, my hair is actually lighter than in the pictures and is a light pink colour with platinum blonde roots.

Overall I am actually pleased with the results as my hair was very dark before. I wasn`t expecting it to go platinum on first application, so I will bleach it again in a couple of days and do an update review! Hope you enjoyed reading my experience. I would definitely reccommend this product to anyone wanting to buy this. It was bought from Tesco for £6.99.
