Ever since I let my hair grow out I`ve started to have more and more problems with it. The length of my hair is to about my low waist and the longer it is the more brittle it has become and more prone to split ends and frizzy ends. It really has become a disaster to deal with. I`ve never really had to invest too much in my hair since I don`t do much with it (I`ve never dyed it, I don`t often use heating tools, and I towel/air dry my hair) it has always been in a relative healthy condition. So now that my hair is acting up it was hard to decide in what direction I want to go in, in terms of buying products for my hair. From reading through magazines and heeding the advice from YT-ers, I found the new L`Oreal EverCreme line of Shampoo and Conditioners might be something good to look into.
Since it was easy to find and inexpensive to purchase I thought why not. I believe it was about 6-7 dollars per bottle. I chose to go with the Nourishing Shampoo instead of the Intense Nourishing or the other stuff because I heard this one did a great job of moisturizing the hair without over drying it or weighing it down. I like that the shampoo is Sulfate Free since it won`t entirely strip my hair of it`s natural oils.
I`ve been using the shampoo with the conditioner for two weeks now and I am absolutely loving it. I can tell that my hair is less frizzy (especially the ends--thank you sulfate free shampoo!) and the shine is absolutely back. I like the smell of the shampoo and conditioner. However, maybe it`s just me since my scalp tend to be oily, I did find that my hair gets oily quicker with this shampoo. I might just have to think about investing in a dry shampoo for in between washes. I usually wash my hair every other day.
Have you tried this shampoo and conditioner? What do you think? What is your favorite sulfate free shampoo?
