The Olympics are just around the corner, which means soon our televisions will be filled with coverage of the athletes all over the world fighting for the same goal - a goal medal in London. On the American Olympic swimming team two swimmers are going head to head in several events; Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte. Both of these swimmers are extremely talented and fighting to get that gold medal in London. However with all of the discussion about Michael and Ryan other swimmers are being overshadowed. For example the female swimmer Natalie Coughlin has won more medals than any female swimmer (Like Phelps) but yet she is being overshadowed by the Phelps and Lochte rivalry. This rivalry is dominating the swimming world and I personally do not like it, they`re still team-mates and no matters who wins it`s a medal to the USA! Both swimmers are talented which is going to make the 2012 Olympic games in London VERY interesting! What are your thoughts?
