Best known for playing the unconventional hero and fan favorite Edgar Stiles in Foxs Emmy Award winning show 24 and FBI Agent Skip Lipari in the highly acclaimed HBO series The Sopranos, Louis Lombardi is going back to his Italian roots and is launching his own gourmet Italian food line, Lombardis, consisting of pastas, sauces, olive oils and olives imported directly from Italy.
Born in the Bronx, NY, Louis learned how to cook by growing up surrounded by a strong household of Italian women including his mother, grandmother, and aunts. For Louis and his family, cooking is not just about eating food, its about passion. Through his Italian upbringing and love of cooking, he believes that the strength of food is in the camaraderie, sitting around the dinner table, and sharing stories about your day. As a father to a young daughter, he wanted to continue that tradition of bringing families back to the dinner table which influenced his decision to share his familys recipes and Italian cooking secrets with his new gourmet food line. Lombardis emphasizes quality ingredients, easy preparation, and a means of reconnecting families at the dinner table, as opposed to the quick drive-thrus that have become a staple of feeding Americas busy families today.
In addition to Lombardis, Louis can be seen this Fall in RUNNER RUNNER, alongside Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake as Archie the owner of the Sports Book and also joins the cast of TNTs Frank Darabont Drama Mob City this fall with Milo Ventimiglia and Ed Burns as Stucky one of Mickeys (Jeremy Luke) men.
