Lo mai gai is pretty much steamed sticky rice wrapped in a lotus leaf. My mom always buys these at the supermarket frozen, i decided to have one for lunch today. All i did was put it in boiling water for about 10-15 min, it was wrapped very tightly so water didnt get in. It can also be put in the rice cooker to steam but i think that`ll take longer. There are many different kind of fillings, <em>the one i had today had chicken, mung beans, and lima beans.</em> I always eat this with hot sauce and soy sauce, it adds a lot more flavour! This was delicious and verrrry filling. It`s not the healthiest thing to eat but it`s good once in awhile :)
