Lisas Cosmetics Haul
Over the years, I have shared quite a few hauls with you guys from a warehouse sale that occurs usually twice a year near my house.
It`s called Lisa`s Cosmetics sale, and it has become super popular over the years since you can get some many deals on great beauty and hygiene items, as well as some other things.
I try to take the opportunity to go and stock up on some items I use regularly, for cheap!
However, this time around, I didn`t get a chance to go until the last weekend, which meant a lot of my favourite items had already been cleared out! :(
I did still manage to find some good deals though!
I was making this trip for myself, my mom and my sister, and we each had some items we were looking for. My mom wanted her favourite lip color from Revlon which she was able to get at the last sale for a fraction of the price. Unfortunately, they were sold out of her shade :(. She wears the Liquid Lipstick in Grand Garnet almost every day (it is her go-to colour)! Instead they seemed to have the liquid lipstick in this weird coppery shade that looked sort of brown.
I did spot these Revlon Balm Stains that I have yet to try. They didn`t have a great selection, with only 2 shades ( a nude and a lilac), but for under 3 dollars each, I thought I would give them a shot. I`m planning to do a review on these later, once I get a chance to use them.
My sister asked me to get her some razors, and some wax strips. They didn`t have any wax strip available, but these Schick razors (which ar her favourites) happened to be available for only 99 cents! So I picked up 2 for her.
I was looking for my favourite Marcella dual phase make-up remover, but unfortunately they were all out. Instead the girl suggest I try their gel formula. I`m obsessed with their dual phase remover, and I actually discovered it for the first time at this sale a few years ago, so I thought I would give it a shot.
I will probably do a comparison review once I get to use this as well.
One of the other items I noticed was the Simple brand Day cream. My skin has been acting up after this winter, and my normal moisturizing routine isn`t working as well. I also wanted a moisturizer with SPF since sunscreens can cause me to break out, and this was only 1.50 so I decided to give it a shot. I recently bought a Simple face wash and some wipes that I hauled, and I`ve been liking them so far, so I`m curious to see how well this works.
They always have a huge variety of nail polishes available usually for very cheap prices, and I always take a look to see what they have. This time, they had a few bins of limited edition Maybelline Color show polishes. I generally like the formulation on these, so I picked up 2 shades, and deep metallic `blurple` and a shimmery ocean blue.
Lastly, in terms of beauty, I grabbed a pair of lashes that were only 1.49, since I needed a new pair, and I have a big event this weekend where I was considering wearing them.
Like I mentioned before, even though this is called Lisa`s Cosmetics Sale, they also have some home cleaning supplies and similar items. While they usually carry limited edition febreeze and air wick sprays, for the first time, they had candles, including my favourites, the Air Wick colour changing ones. I have a few of these at home that I still need to use, but I can never resist another, so I picked a new scent (fresh baked apple strudel) for $4.99
So all in all, if you look at some of my previous hauls from this sale, it`s tiny, but I still managed to get some great items for good prices.
Do you guys have any warehouse sales you like to go visit?
