I posted quite a few hauls before from this bi-annual cosmetics sale near my house. It`s called Lisa`s cosmetics sale, but the name is a little deceiving since they sell a lot more than just cosmetics (though the great selection of make-up is definitely a huge draw).
They carry brands like Stila, Anna sui, Elizabeth Ardene and more for very cheap, but on this occasion, as tempted as I was, I decided to avoid the cosmetics since I have some many items at home that I have yet to even open, let alone experiment with!
But my sister had a few items she wanted to get, and I like stocking up on some tried and true favourites, so I did get some thing in the end.
One thing I get every time I go to this sale is Marcelle make-up remover. My favourite is the dual phase one where you have to shake the bottle before using. However, the past 2 times I have been to the sale, they haven`t had that in stock! The girl said they expected to get some for this sale, but they never arrived.
Last time, they only had the gel version available, and I didn`t like it. This time, they had 2 other options: a non-dual phase oil free eye make-up remover for 5 bucks, and a `cleansing water` for 3 dollars that can also be used to remove eye make-up. I decided to grab one of each to test out.
I also noticed that they had a Revlon Lip Butter for only 3 bucks. They only had one shade available, which was Peach Parfait, so I decided to pick one up. I have two other shades at home, and I love how they are so smooth on the lips.
I also picked up some Dove body sprays in a 3 pack that was only 4 dollars. Buying each of these individually is usually 4 dollars or more, and I like dove scents. I especially enjoy the Cucumber and Green tea scent - it`s the same as the deodorant I currently have in my gym bag.
Speaking of Dove, I also picked up a body wash. I have lots of Bath and Body Works body washes at home, but I`ve recently realized that they are a little bit drying, especially in the winter. I love Dove body washes and how they are so creamy, so hopefully this will help my skin stay soft during the winter months.
As I mentioned, they have stuff besides cosmetics, and beauty products, including cleaning supplies and items for the home, as well as a small section of accessories like purses, belts, jewelry and socks.
I didn`t really need any of this stuff, but as I was roaming through, I did pick up a can of Febreeze for our house.
All in all, this is probably the smallest haul I have ever had from Lisa`s, but I still got some good stuff for relatively cheap :)
