Hi everyone! Since I was in another part of the city today, I decided to stop by a different drugstore and see what goodies they had to offer. But first off, sorry, it has been quite a while since I last posted-due to the dreadful month of midterms >:(-but not to worry, I am back! :) When I walked into the drugstore, I was not planning on buying anything specific. You know, the general browsing up and down the aisles. But of course my favourite section would have to be nail polish aisle. Nothing really caught my eye since it was the same polishes I have seen over and over again. And of course, the new polish collections were completely sold out. That was a bummer, but in the end, I came out with 4 lip goodies!
What I picked up:
-EOS (Evolution of Smooth) Lip Balm in Summer Fruit (my first!). I was not originally planning on buying this since I have way too many lip balms. But I have heard so many people rave about this lip balm, and I decided to crave in and see what all the hype was about. But best of all, this lip balm was on SALE for $3.99 and the original price was $6.99! What a seal, save myself $3! There were only 3 flavours to choose from, but I chose Summer Fruit over Honeysuckle Honeydew and Sweet Mint because of the pink packaging and I love anything fruity. :P
-Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me (2) and Grape Vine. I was not planning on buying this since I still have my first Baby Lips in Cherry Me that I bought back at the end of January. But I could not stop myself when I saw the 30% off sign. Since I quite like the Cherry Me lip balm, I decided to pick up 2 more, one for me and another for my friend. I decided to give Grape Vine a try since it was sold out at my usual drugstore when Baby Lips first came out. At my usual drugstore, Baby Lips costs around $8 but at the drugstore I visited, it was $4.99. But since it was 30% off, it was $3.49 for one! I technically saved $13.53!
I am quite happy that I stopped by this drugstore, even though it was on the other side of the city... :/ But with the savings I saved ($16.53), I would stop buy once in a while to see what other goodies I can pick up. I will be reviewing these in the near future, because it takes some time for lip balms to show how effective they really are.
Have you tried these? Which of the two brands do you like better? What`s your favourite flavour?
