Happy Memorial Day everyone! To celebrate my friends and I decided to meet up and get some korean bbq. I`ve been craving korean bbq for so long now so I was glad my friends called. We knew that San Ya would be packed so we ended up going to O Dae San which is right next door. They have better quality meats and more of a selection, just a tad bit more expensive.
Luckily we didn`t have to wait too long since we sort of beat the rush. We decided to get the $18 ayce since my friend REALLY wanted some tongue. I`m glad I had 2 korean friends with me so they could talk to the waiters and tell them to bring more food and change the grill. We didn`t know what to get so we ended up getting everything off the menu. I forgot to take a picture of the food, but we got steak, pork belly, marinated beef, pork, and chicken, tongue, veggies, and some other stuff that I forgot. We didn`t touch much of the sides, except for the steamed egg which I love! What I love about O Dae San, aside from the higher quality food, is that there are vents right about every table so you don`t smell too much like meat when you leave.
I`m in the worst food coma right now but I`m so satisfied :]. I swear I could live off a kbbq but that would probably result in me dieing from some heart disease. If you`re ever in Ktown and want korean bbq, try out O Dae San since it`s better quality meat compared to San Ya or Castle and it`s less crowded and noisy. There`s valet parking for about $3 which is so much more convenient than trying to find your own parking.
