Lindergaard renews for Manchester United

The Danish goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard renewed its contract with Manchester United for another four seasons, the English club revealed on Friday.

"I am delighted to have signed a new contract and happy and proud to coach [Sir Alex] have demonstrated the confidence he has in me, providing this moment," said Lindegaard, who was hired in January 2011 and, after winning the ownership to David De Gea, earlier this year, suffered an injury that kept him out until the end of the season.

"This is everything I dreamed and nothing makes me prouder than to represent Manchester United," added the keeper of 28 years which is linked to the Red Devils until the end of the season 2015/16.
