MULBERRY has a new family addition - but, this season, the collection was inspired by you - the great festival-going British public. And the new range has already been spotted on the arms of the brand`s famous muses, from Emma Watson and Kate Bosworth to Lily Collins and Tali Lennox.
SEE THE NEW TASSEL COLLECTION
"The Tassel collection came about after seeing gorgeous Mulberry girls at festivals, bags slung over their shoulders, not afraid of a bit of English mud," said Mulberry creative director Emma Hill. "It reminded me of the image of laid-back Seventies festivals, fringing, tassels - the works!"
Its new collection, which features the common theme of tassels throughout, carries the accents of the label`s sell-out Alexa bag (think oversized, tan satchels), as well as "rock `n` roll" studded rivets and long chain straps.

"I think the idea of taking a classic Mulberry icon and giving it a modern, seasonal twist makes this collection stand out," said Hill. "I love the easy-to-wear aspect of the bags in this range - they`re very much chuck-them-on-and-off-you-go. But, at the same time, there are the super special styles, in gorgeous new seasonal leathers like lizard and tiger print haircalf and super-sumptuous suede. I love the laid-back festival vibe."
SEE DESIGNS FROM THE JEWELLERS HERE
To kick off proceedings, Vogue jewellery editor Carol Woolton will be in-store from 5pm tonight to sign copies of her latest book - Drawing Jewels For Fashion - and to give customers advice on their jewellery purchases. Champagne Lanson will provide the drinks, and customers will be able to peruse designs by the likes of Pomellato, Anna Sheffield and Dinny Hall with the designers themselves there to present them.
